In earlier times, street lights were lit each evening by means of a lighted wick on a long pole. Each day, as the sun was setting, a Lamplighter would go through the streets and relight the street lights so people could see.
Your bright day has ended. Everything is dark. Today we can relight electric lights. Ever so much brighter than gas lamps. To relight them we need only to rewire a circuit. Relighting Us is that process. It becomes our Lamplighter.
We need two wires in our new circuit. One that goes into the light from the power source, and one that goes back to it. The power source that goes into our light originates in our memories. The power that returns is in our joy. The light that results is shared by all.
We can select those lights we wish to relight. Writing about them restores their enjoyment. Sharing them brings them to life again. They are manifested in their recreated form.
Relighting Us is accomplished by revisiting, writing, and sharing. There are many bright lights out there to be restored. Relighting Us helps us do the job. Let`s get on with it…
Bob, Loved what you had to say about the two wires needed for the circuit: the power source being our memories, the product being our joy and that joy being shared by all. I will keep that in mind as I write my book. May I quote you?
Hello Estelle, by all means do not hesitate to quote from my stories. They are intended for sharing. The more we share the better we all can become.
