Tuba Bob is my real name. I play the Tuba in the New Horizons Band of Rochester, NY. Bob is a contraction of my given name. The Tuba is mainly a support instrument. It functions best when its joyful sound is shared with other instruments. Joyful sound is shared with light in attaining joy. Light is needed to see a path to that same joy. Two years ago, I lost my light. I created this website to restore the lost light that illuminated my life’s path.
Support is found in sharing. Sharing is a part of healing. Healing is what this site is all about. My purpose in creating this website sharing vehicle was to heal. To heal myself and those who shared the intentions and activities of this site. Our reward is in that sharing. There is no cost or obligation to anyone who uses the site, except to share. The sharing and participation is free. It`s a win – win deal.
The ultimate healer is joy. To enjoy is a human condition deeply felt and needed. When enjoyment is lost, it can be regained if its pathway can be relighted. Support is needed to restore that lost light. “Relighting Us” is a support vehicle.
The basic application of the site is to go back, and revisit joyful events. Take someone along who was a part of that event, and relive to the best of your ability what took place at an earlier time. Then write about it, share it with whoever was there, and on this website as well.
